Editorial Policy

Independence

TheCryptoNist's editorial team operates independently from advertising, sponsorship and business interests. Advertisers and sponsors have no influence over editorial decisions, and sponsored content is clearly labelled.

Sourcing

We rely on primary sources, official statements, on-chain data and verified documents. We cite sources and, where possible, link to them. Unverified claims are labelled as such.

Accuracy and corrections

We correct errors promptly and transparently. Significant corrections are noted at the top of the article with the date and reason. If you spot an error, contact editor@thecryptonist.com.

Conflicts of interest

Writers and editors must disclose holdings in assets they cover. Staff may not trade on non-public information. Sponsored content is marked "Sponsored" or "Ad".

AI use

Some content may be assisted by AI tools for research, drafting or translation. All published content is reviewed by a human editor. AI-generated images are labelled where used.

Diversity and fairness

We aim for balanced coverage and give subjects a right of reply before publishing serious allegations.

Independence from crypto projects

We do not accept payment for coverage, rankings or "best of" lists. Listing fees, if any, are disclosed.
